But its tough down there for a shark. Jabberjaw must also contend with the robot force of “Shark Ejectors,” guards who prevent sharks from entering into underwater cities. All he wants is a little respect! Catch the tidal wave of adventure, music and laughter in this 4-Disc, 16-Episode Series Collection.Jabberjaw is another great Hanna-Barbera animated series, and it's title character is actually a friendly shark who plays drums in a rock band, along with his (human) friends, called The Nuptunes. The Neptunes are "musical heroes" -- they not only play in a rock group, but they also fight off all the bad guys in the futuristic undersea world! It reminds me of a combination of Scooby Doo and Josie and the Pussycats, which are two shows I really loved. This series definitely has some pretty clever lines that made me laugh (with one of them being, "You look much better with your face on"). From the opening with the awesome theme song to the end of the show, it's fun the whole way through!
