Centrum MultiGummies Multivitamins Review

I loved having the opportunity to try out the new Centrum MultiGummies Multivitamins recently! I am not a huge fan of taking pills or typical vitamins, but these make taking vitamins so incredibly easy. Actually, these make the process of taking vitamins - dare I say - enjoyable! It's as though you're simply chewing on a gummy bear, and the flavor is surprisingly nice for a vitamin. The bottle contains 70 multivitamins, which come in cherry, berry, and orange flavors. I'd most certainly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a great multivitamin!

{Where can I buy it?}
The new MultiGummies Multivitamins from Centrum can be found in stores and from your favorite online retailers, as well! You can head over HERE to find a store near you that carries them. You can also click HERE for an awesome high-value coupon!

SweeTARTS Soft & Chewy Ropes Review

I recently had the chance to try out a new candy from SweeTARTS, and I think I may be addicted to them! Seriously, I can not get enough of them! They're called SweeTARTS Soft and Chewy Ropes.

Although, I never had these when they were known as Kazoozles and didn't know what to expect, I am a big fan of SweeTARTS, so that made me pretty excited to try these! I think it has the perfect mixture of sweet and sour. Plus, the mix of the two different textures is a very interesting combo. I love that each rope is only 45 calories, too!

Disclosure: I received these free to try for in exchange for my honest review thanks to Smiley360.

Snow White & the Huntsman Review

Release Date: September 11, 2012
Synopsis:
In this spectacular action-adventure, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) is Snow White, the only woman in the land fairer than the evil queen Ravenna (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron). Ravenna wants nothing more than to destroy her young rival, but she doesn’t know that Show White has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) the queen dispatched to kill her. Together with a handsome prince (Sam Claflin) enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power, they assemble an armed force to recapture the kingdom. This breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders is, in the words of Shawn Edwards, Fox-TV, “A film that soars with creativity, stylistic genius and amazing battle scenes.”

My Thoughts
Snow White and the Huntsman is an entertaining re-telling of a classic story (and its a film that I had been looking forward to watching!). I've long been a fan of fairy tales, and I enjoy watching films/television shows that take those classic tales that we all know and love and put their own spin on them, such as Grimm, Once Upon a Time, and Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. This film is action-packed and is a much darker depiction of the Snow White tale that most everyone is familiar with (Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs). From the sets/scenery and special effects, to the costumes and cast - this film is visually stunning. Charlize Theron's performance is captivating, and, in my opinion, she steals the film (she's simply flawless as the villainous queen)! And let me just say that while I do adore the classic Disney version, after watching this take on the fairy tale, I'm thinking there's definitely no need for a prince when you got the huntsman (a.k.a Chris Hemsworth, a.k.a. Thor)! ;)

The Looney Tunes gang is back in this third volume DVD from the first season of The Looney Tunes Show. I love the classic Looney Tunes, and this new show is just as great! My favorite episode was Eligible Bachelors, where Lola and Granny bid on dates with Bugs and Daffy (and win!). I have just got to say that I adore Lola! She is awesome and quite hilarious (by the way, her character is voiced by Kristen Wiig)! If you're looking for laughs, The Looney Tunes Show: Season 1, Volume 3 is a DVD to watch (and for more laughs, be sure to check out the first two volumes on DVD, which were released a few months ago). Young Justice: Season 1, Volume 3 DVD Review

Young Justice: Season 1, Volume 3
Release date:
2/21/12
Genre:
Children/Family

Synopsis:
Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis have become YOUNG JUSTICE - The Justice League's secret weapon against the forces of evil. The teen heroes will take on under-the-radar missions that would be impossible for the Justice League to handle covertly. Red Tornado will be their supervisor, Black Canary will be in charge of their training and Batman will hand out their assignments.
Superhero shows are always fun to watch, and Young Justice is no exception. I wasn't too familiar with the show, nor had I seen any episodes of it, until I had the chance to review the Young Justice Season 1, Volume 2 DVD awhile back, and I've found that it is quite an excellent animated series. The newest volume (Volume 3), which recently made it's way onto DVD on February 21, continues where the second volume left off and seems to keep getting better. Action-filled episodes and great characters keep you drawn in to this cool superhero series. Young Justice: Season 1, Volume 3 includes four episodes from the first season (Bereft, Targets, Terrors, and Home Front), so check it out if you're a superhero fan, and for new episodes, tune in to the Cartoon Network.

The Looney Tunes Show, Season 1, Vol. 2 DVD Review

The Looney Tunes Show: Season 1, Volume 2
Release Date: 12/6/11
Synopsis:
This half-hour animated comedy series starring Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck is no longer confined to 7-minute shorts. Bugs and Daffy are out of the woods and living in the suburbs among such colorful neighbors as Yosemite Sam, Granny, Tweety and Sylvester. In addition to each episode’s main story, The Looney Tunes Show also features “cartoons within a cartoon.” The Tasmanian Devil, Speedy Gonzales, Marvin the Martian and other classic characters sing original songs in two-minute music videos called Merrie Melodies. The legendary Looney Tunes cartoons are getting a 21st century relaunch and a CGI overhaul for a new generation.
I grew up watching Looney Tunes and laughing at all the antics of Bugs Bunny & the gang. Those classic Looney Tunes cartoons always knew how to make a person, no matter what their age, laugh! And after watching this new take, I'm happy to report that it knows how to bring the laughs just like the classics did. The DVD contains four episodes: Monster Talent – A Zipline in the Sand, Reunion – Cock of the Walk – Fee Fi Fo Dumb, Casa de Calma - Queso Bandito – Sail Fail, and Devil Dog - Unsafe at Any Speed. I got quite a kick out of the episode Casa de Calma, in which Daffy and Bugs try to get the attention of Scarlett Johansson, and I think the Merrie Melodies music videos (included on two of the episodes) and Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote" shorts (included on all four episodes) are a lot of fun!

I love the Smurfs, don't you? They are such classic characters and so adorable! I always get a chuckle out of their vocabulary, since the word "smurf" is used quite frequently, in different forms, and seems to mean practically anything they want it to mean. This DVD features everyone's favorite little blue creatures in two great Christmas specials: The Smurfs Christmas Special and 'Tis the Season to be Smurfy. The two Christmas episodes originally aired in the 80's but are still enjoyable today! The song, “Goodness makes the badness go away,” that the Smurfs sing in The Smurf’s Christmas Special is super cute! 'Twas The Night Before Christmas: Deluxe Edition Blu-Ray Review

'Twas The Night Before Christmas: Deluxe Edition (Blu-Ray)
Release date:
10/04/11

Synopsis:
A holiday sourpuss brings Santa to the rescue of a small town's Christmas. For some unexplained reason, letters to Santa Claus are being returned to the children of Junctionville. It seems some resident has angered St. Nick, calling Christmas "a fraudulent myth!" Skeptical Albert Mouse has to be brought to his senses "and let up a little on the wonder why." How Albert is persuaded to change his tune paves the way for Santa's jolly return to town - and the joyous finale of the animated fable inspired by Clement Moore's poem and produced by the merrymaking conjurers of Rankin/Bass Studios. The voice talents of Joel Grey, Tammy Grimes, John McGiver and George Gobel make this festive fable even more fun.
Gosh, I just love all of these Rankin/Bass holiday specials being available on DVD! This classic cartoon has been remastered and is now available on DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack, and it looks fantastic! 'Twas The Night Before Christmas is one of the ones I remember watching when I was younger, and it's one of my favorites! The songs are memorable, and this cartoon really seems to bring the well-known poem to life. Christmas: A Global Holiday is a pretty neat and interesting extra, but I think it would be awesome to see more extras on these classic Rankin/Bass cartoons in the future.

Frosty’s Winter Wonderland: Deluxe Edition DVD Review

Frosty’s Winter Wonderland: Deluxe Edition
Release date:
10/04/11

Synopsis:
From beloved song to animated holiday classic: Frosty meets his match in a glistening Remastered Deluxe Edition! Andy Griffith, Shelley Winters and Jackie Vernon lend their voices to this captivating cartoon about the Snowman's winter return to the children of a small town for a winter season of fun and games. But he?s lonely at night when left by himself. So the grateful kids build him a beautiful snowlady companion. Jealous of the attention given Frosty, Jack Frost blows up a blizzard and swipes Frosty's magical, life-giving hat. Only true love can bring Frosty back to his old fun-loving self. Two songs that have proven to be enduring seasonal favorites highlight the soundtrack: Frosty the Snowman and Winter Wonderland.
Frosty’s Winter Wonderland is such a cute holiday tale! This Rankin/Bass holiday special is a classic, but it's one that I don't recall having seen before. At first, the idea of Frosty having a "snow wife" kind of made me laugh a bit, but their love for each other was so sweet and they were absolutely adorable together! I loved that Andy Griffith was the narrator, and I thought the music, of course, was great ("Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, look at Frosty skate. Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump, making a figure...nine?" Haha!). The Deluxe Edition of Frosty's Winter Wonderland also includes a special feature called Frosty and the Story of the Snowman, which I really enjoyed watching.

Doctor Who has long been my dad's favorite television show. I have several friends who are pretty much obsessed with the show as well, but while I've seen the occasional episode, it was never a show that I followed all that closely. I had the opportunity to watch the entire sixth series recently though, and I'm so glad I did! Matt Smith as the quirky doctor, along with the rest of the amazing cast and brilliant storylines, won me over! I AM officially a Doctor Who fan! It's an incredibly entertaining series and each episode sort of builds on each other. It's definitely one of those shows that I imagaine if you were to miss an episode, you might not fully understand everything or catch certain things. The 60-minute Christmas Special, A Christmas Carol, was fantastic, and so were all of the special features!

Yoplait Yogurt At Sam's Club - Review & Giveaway *CLOSED*

Yogurt is one of my favorite snacks! It satisfies my sweet tooth, but yet is still a healthier option than other treats that I could grab to snack on, such as ice cream. I was recently given the opportunity to check out the new expanded Yoplait yogurt selection, featuring new Yoplait Light with Granola and Trix yogurt, at Sam´s Club and stock up on some yummy yogurt!

We shop at Sam's Club fairly often and typically buy the multi-packs of Yoplait yogurt each time we visit the store, so we were pleased to see more of a variety of Yoplait products on our recent visit. We love being able to purchase the larger packs of yogurt because it is so much more convenient than having to purchase them individually from our local grocery store and it's handy to have a nice supply of some tasty yogurt on hand so that there's always enough for everyone. My favorite flavor is cherry, so we picked up a couple 12 ct. multi-packs of the Yoplait Original yogurt, which includes the cherry orchard and the red raspberry flavors. At my local Sam's Club, they also had Yoplait Light yogurt with granola, Yoplait Go-Gurt, and a variety of multi-packs (both 12 ct. and 18 ct. in different flavors).
