I received the Classic Chillin’ Cucumber to review, and they're super cute! They actually do look like real cucumbers slices! Also, the eyecoolers came in a nice little plastic zipper bag perfect for storage, which is great!

These eye coolers are amazing! They're really easy to use, and such an easy/fast way to feel pampered! I just have to pop the eyecandy into the fridge for a bit and then place them on my eyeslids. And you know what?! They feel soooo good -- very relaxing and soothing! These are super if you need a pick-me-up or refresher after a long day (or perhaps even a nap, lol). Let's just say they may just relax you a bit too much, you know, to the point where you end up taking nap that you didn't really plan for [this may or may not have happened to me ;)].

Overall, I think these things are fantastic! I received the Punky Chocola-Hollic to review, and that couldn't have been more perfect because I LOVE chocolate. The Punky Chocola-Hollic character is super cute - all in brown, even wearing a brown hair accessory and holding a chocolate cupcake. She has a chocolate-flavored lip gloss, and I, of course, love the flavor! The lip gloss comes out the little doll's feet. You have just flip the bottom open (it stays attached, which is great so you don't ever have to deal with losing the cap) and twist her head to release more lip gloss. She is definitely one of the most fun and absolutely adorable lip glosses I've ever seen!

Isn't she cute?!

I think Sugee Girls/Lip Glosses would be fun to collect and would definitely make a great stocking stuffer for the tween/teen girl on your list!

I want Candy! – Hard Candy Cosmetics Review

Hard Candy has always been one of my favorite cosmetic brands! I remember as a teenager, I was obsessed with Hard Candy -- from the packaging, to the cute product names, to the variety of colors offered! I don’t exactly know how or when it happened, but Hard Candy just seemed to fade and disappear. However, Hard Candy cosmetics are back and more affordable than ever!

Hard Candy cosmetics are now being offered exclusively at Walmart! The Hard Candy collection at Walmart consists of tinted moisturizer, lipstick, lip gloss, lip balm, lip pencil, mascara, blush, bronzers, glitter cosmetics, concealer, eyeshadow duos, eyeliner, nail polishes, and even primer. And with cosmetic prices ranging from $5.00 to $10.00, even the most budget savvy babe can enjoy!

I was super excited to have the opportunity to review a few of the Hard Candy cosmetics being offered at Walmart. We were blown away by the variety of items we received to review. Hard Candy sent us the Sheer Envy Primer, Plumping Lip Serum (sample size was included with Sheer Envy Primer), 1,000 Lashes Fiberized Lash Weave Mascara (Mermaid Teal), Meteor-eyes Baked Glitter Eyeshadow (276 – space cadet), and Plexi Gloss (180 – sweet dream).

Sheer Envy Primer

Skin perfecting primer helps to even out the skin while reducing shine.
Improves foundation application while minimizing skin imperfections. Make-up
lasts longer and skin is left velvety smooth.

I have never used a makeup primer before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect...Will it feel heavy? Will it cause my sensitive skin to breakout? However, I was pleasantly surprised with Hard Candy’s Sheer Envy Primer. Hard Candy’s Sheer Envy Primer would be considered a colorless primer, since looks more like a white cream or lotion. It was very easy to apply and didn’t feel heavy. I only used a small, pea-sized amount of Sheer Envy Primer but it covered my entire face. With only having to use such a small amount of product per use, it should last a good while, which is great for us girls on a budget. :) My skin felt like silk once the Sheer Envy Primer was applied…seriously, I couldn’t believe how smooth and soft my skin felt. It also gave my oily skin a nice, matte finish. Applying my makeup seems easier after using the primer, as my makeup just seems to glide better. My makeup also seems to wear longer when using the primer. I have very sensitive skin and so far I haven’t had any breakout issues from using the primer.

Plumping Lip Serum (sample size-color unknown)
Plumping Serum lip gloss will give you the biggest, sexiest lips possible without a doctor's visit. Sheer color, outrageous shine.

Hard Candy’s Plumping Lip Serum was very easy to apply with its wand applicator. The gloss provided a shimmer of color, which was very pretty. I did feel a slight tingling sensation in my lips after applying, but after a few minutes of wear I didn’t notice much plumping action. None the less, I still enjoyed the Plumping Lip Serum’s shimmer and its sheer color.

1,000 Lashes Fiberized Lash Weave Mascara in Mermaid Teal

Infused with volume building fibers that thicken, separate, and lengthen lashes dramatically!

At first, I was a little uncertain about the Mermaid Teal color. I didn’t want to draw the wrong kind of attention to my eyes. But this Mermaid Teal mascara is absolutely gorgeous on my lashes. The teal color was very subtle and really only noticeable on the tips of my lashes (my lashes have blond tips) with a light coat of mascara. I am sure you can play up the color with more applications. The mascara wand was more like a brush, which seemed to really separate my lashes and deliver the mascara with “no clumps” (I can’t stand clumpy mascara!). My lashes seemed longer, fuller, and more defined after applying 1,000 Lashes Mascara. I think this is because of the mascara “fibers” that are transferred from the wand to my lashes. I thought the “fibers” might fall in my eyes during application or wear, but I didn’t have any issues. The “fibers” stayed in place until meeting my eye makeup remover. ;)

Meteor-eyes Baked Glitter Eyeshadow in Space Cadet

The formula has been baked (not pressed), offering wet-dry benefits in a rich, colorful, long-lasting application that's never chalky. Apply "wet" for more dramatic, intense color, or "dry" for softer, more shimmery effect.

The Meteor-eyes Baked Glitter Eyeshadow is eye-catching on its own! The Space Cadet color is such a gorgeous shade of green. I love how the glitter flecks and shadow are combined and packaged. Application was very easy. The shadow itself is highly pigmented and I am not the most brave makeup wearer, so I applied the shadow with a light touch. But if you wanted a more intense color for a night on the town, you can apply the shadow with a wet brush. I love shadows that are versatile from day to night time wear! Oh, and I did notice some fall out from the glitter flecks, but to me that just seems like the normal thing for glitter to do.

Plexi Gloss in Sweet Dream

Coat lips with a shot of glistening, glassy color form these innovative tube glosses. Just a gentle squeeze of the tube sends a wash of sexy shine over lips. The convenient applicator tip makes perfecting your pout goof-proof!

I was very impressed by Hard Candy’s Plexi Gloss. The tip applicator made it very easy to apply Plexi Gloss with no mess. It went on super smooth and delivered the perfect hint of color. It also gave my lips that sexy, glossy look without that sticky feeling. Plexi Gloss also seemed to stay on my lips even after a few hours, which is great wear in my opinion from a lip gloss. And on top of all that, it smells so yummy - like frosting! I will definitely be picking up Hard Candy’s Plexi Gloss in a few more colors on my next shopping trip.

I am very happy with the Hard Candy products I reviewed. And Hard Candy truly still is eye/lip/face/nail color candy for me!

Clientele Elastology Thermal Pumpkin Facial Scrub Review

With another year almost over, I am kicking and screaming as I inch closer to turning thirty. I still feel the same as I did in my teens and early twenties. However, I can’t say the same thing for my skin’s appearance. My pores seem to have become more pronounced than they were in my early twenties. And sometimes it seems my skin is dull, as though it is losing it's natural glow. After addressing my skin issues to my friends and family, they suggested I try a facial scrub. I can see how exfoliating my skin to remove the dull skin cells could improve its appearance, but with so many skincare lines and “promising” products, it is a bit overwhelming to narrow it down to just one. Right around the time I was reading TONS of skincare reviews, I had the opportunity to review Clientele’s Elastology Thermal Pumpkin Facial Scrub.

According to Clientele, exfoliating skin improves "skin tone, clarity, and texture. Microscopic peeling of the skin’s surface results in visibly smoother, younger-looking skin exposing younger, fresher skin cells.”

Though I have never used Clientele before, I have read many good things about their products. The first thing I noticed upon opening the Thermal Pumpkin Facial Scrub was it's amazing fragrance. It really smelled of pumpkin (it was like pumpkin aromatherapy for me...fall and family = good times)!! Besides the fragrance, I loved the way the Thermal Pumpkin Facial Scrub slightly warmed on my skin. It was very invigorating (and felt totally awesome!). The natural pumpkin enzymes and jojoba beads in this scrub were the perfect consistency for removing those dull/dead skin cells and impurities without being abrasive or harsh at all, which is what I need with my sensitive skin. The scrub left my skin so soft, with a more even tone.

The Clientele Elastology Thermal Pumpkin Facial Scrub by far exceeded my expectations. I love everything - the smell, the scrub, and the results! My skin feels clean, soft, and revived after using this amazing scrub! I can definitely see this scrub being beneficial for a variety of skin types, since it removes impurities from pores, softens skin, and evens out skin tone without being too harsh.
