We were beyond thrilled when Casualmere contacted us regarding a review and giveaway opportunity. The wonderful folks at Casualmere provided us with a Women’s V-Neck, Cap Sleeve Bamboo Top in Navy and a Men’s Basic Short Sleeve Bamboo T-Shirt in Olive Grey to review.
Let me start by saying that we are very impressed with the quality of the Casualmere tees we received. The bamboo knit feels so buttery soft and luxurious…I would say you could compare the feel of a Casualmere top to your softest, most comfy t-shirt that you own, but that really isn’t even a good comparison and doesn’t even come close to how buttery soft and comfy the Casualmere tee is (you really just need to experience it's wonderfulness for yourself...). I absolutely love the way it feels!
The Women’s V-Neck, Cap Sleeve Bamboo Top is made from 100% viscose made from bamboo in Casualmere’s sexy-soft jersey knit. It features seam slits, a tagless design, and the Casualmere logo of 4 bamboo sticks at the left bottom hem. I love the little logo! The fit of the top was flattering and lightly fitted, which allows me to look put together but still move freely and not feel constricted. The weight of the top was very light and did not add extra bulk. I loved the longer length of the tee. Having a longer length made the top very easy to wear, and I didn’t have to worry about exposing any unwanted skin. And at a price of $19.75, this top is also a very affordable, luxurious item that you can purchase for yourself (and feel great while doing so since a percentage of the sale goes towards cancer research) or as a gift someone you love, which would be perfect for this holiday season. It's a wonderful top (and it makes me really want to try one of their dresses or scarves)!
The Men’s Basic Short Sleeve Bamboo T-Shirt is made from 100% viscose made from bamboo in Casualmere’s heavy jersey knit. It features side-seam slits, self-fabric trim on the neck to eliminate “bacon neck,” double stitched neck and shoulder seams for strength, a tagless design, and the Casualmere logo of 4 bamboo sticks at the left bottom seam. We gave the men’s t-shirt to “B” for his opinion and he was impressed. The fit was very casual but refined, which makes it a perfect fit for both men and women to wear. “B” liked the “super soft” feel of the t-shirt. He also said he liked that it was extremely lightweight and long enough for him to feel comfortable (man midriff is so not “in”). The tee is easily affordable with the price of $24.95.
With great clothing basics including short & long sleeve tees, scarves, and tee-shirt dresses (my favorite!), Casualmere can cover your entire casual wardrobe needs! I love that the pieces are super soft and light weight, which makes them perfect for the ever popular “layered” look. I also love the fact that items from Casualmere are made from bamboo, which is a very renewable/sustainable resource (awesome)! Who knew that being GREEN could look and feel so good?
